I laughed out loud when I saw the still frames of “Let’s Generalize About Men” from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I was a cameraman on CXG for three seasons, including the episode where we did that song.

A++ on this.

I like it when a man (or men!) follow me around to look for heavy/high things to lift or take down for me.

I LOVE IT in the train stations on Mondays and Fridays when the young men are coming home or going to military service with their big, heavy duffel bags and rifles never fail to stop and help moms to lift their big baby buggies up and down high train steps without even having to put down their duffels and buggies.

This is great. It’s so nice to read something positive about masculinity for a change.

There is hardly anything positive in this post. If anything, it is highly misogynistic bs, and that too coming from a type of women that most men despise

As a firm 2 on the Kinsey scale, I learned to do boy things for many women because I truly enjoy it. And now my life’s most difficult task is to let boys do boy things for me because I need to remember they enjoy it too!! I have been lucky to encounter men tend to give without being pushy about getting anything more in return other than some presence and acknowledgment for a socially acceptable duration of time in that particular context.

Interestingly, I lack most of these.

I think 9 and 11 are actually big peeves for most women.

I always figured the whole reason (evolutionarily speaking) to date nerds was they wouldn't cheat on you, so you trade quality for quantity--the guy's less masculine, but he's probably not going to be able to get another girl so you'll secure all his resources. It's like buying a bond instead of a stock.

This is obviously not the case here.

Testosterone is generally not a mood stabilizer from what I see. I would be surprised to find evidence for it outside of trans men, who seem to get reduced disassociativity. (weak evidence low t responsible for negative symptoms of depression, roidrage seems like a subjective experience of many body builders even when not acted upon.)

Such a BS post! A literal regurgitation of redpill nonsense, that too, coming from the type of women that most men despise.

1. The advantage men have in strength over women has mostly being detrimental for women. Being physically stronger gives men the privilege to abuse women. Essentially, women are left at men’s mercy.

2. Many of the qualities you mentioned in quest for adventure are present in women, and men hardly want to learn how to cook. If anything, most rely on women.

3. Nurturing is a feminine trait. Men are way more likely to leave their wives suffering from life threatening or severe illness. Search it up. They are way more likely to abandon children. What are you even saying?

4. Men and women can both collaborate. The feminist movement was mostly a result of female collaboration.

Your idea that locker room chat is fake happens to be quite ludicrous. Men do chat about sex a lot. They might also talk about politics and philosophy, but you’ll observed the men use more profanity, and indeed, historically speaking it’s considered masculine to use explicit language. People react way more negatively when they hear women discussing sex.

5. I don’t wanna repeat the 1st point.

6. Meh

7. That’s your friend’s personal problem. My driving instructor is a woman, and I’m certain she can park more easily than many men.

Your friend is an immature dumb bimbo. Not every or most women are.

8. While empirical evidence does show that women are more neurotic, men experiencing neuroticism has much more violent outcomes. Men are more successful in committing suicides.

Men are less likely to report experiencing any of the neurotic symptoms in these surveys for obvious reasons.

If men are really this emotionally stable, then how come majority of rapists, pedos, and murderers happen to be men? In every country, homicide stats show that female victims mostly have a male offender, whereas male victims are also mostly murked by other men.

9. You got definition wrong. Mansplaining occurs when a man talks over a woman cuz he can’t stand her having knowledge about something for which he’s also passionate. A man simply talking about a subject isn’t mansplaining.

10. Same nonsense as point 7.

11. Men will save planet from AI? Isn’t it (mostly) men who developed AI, and still continue to improve it?

12. Women are way more concerned about social causes than men. If anything, men mostly have a detached or no caring attitude.

13. Male humour is often raped or straight inappropriate but go on
